Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of SleepsCore ("the app"), a personal health-data dashboard built and operated by a single individual (Joel Sweet, "the developer"). See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

1. Single-user application

The app is built and operated solely for the developer's own personal use. It has no public sign-up, no user accounts beyond the developer's own Google account, and is not offered as a service to the general public. By connecting your Google account to the app, you acknowledge it is a personal tool, not a commercial or publicly-available product.

2. Description of the app

The app reads read-only sleep, activity, and health-metrics data from Google Health Connect (via the Google Health Connect API) and presents it as a dashboard: daily and rolling-average views, a custom sleep-quality score, streak/record tracking, and an activity-load calculation. It does not write to, modify, or delete any data in your Google account.

3. Google account access

Access is granted through Google's standard OAuth consent flow and can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will stop the app from being able to fetch new data; previously stored data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Sleep and health metrics shown by the app — including the custom sleep-quality score — are derived estimates for personal informational use only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including but not limited to data loss, inaccuracy, or service interruption.

6. Changes to the app or these terms

The app and these terms may change at any time without prior notice, at the developer's discretion. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Termination

The developer may discontinue or modify the app at any time. Access can also be terminated by the account holder at any time by revoking the app's Google account permissions.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
